Welcome to oYari Social, a service provided by AS Tech Solutions ("oYari Social", "oYari", "we", "We", "our", "Our", "us", "Us"). We give our utmost care to your privacy. This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, store, use and disclose your information when you use oYari Social service.

Please take some time to read this Privacy Policy, and make sure you are happy with our use and disclosure of your information. We strongly encourage you to periodically review this policy to be informed of how we are protecting your personal information. We collect information about you from various sources.

  • Audio, video, and visual content you create.
  • The content you create, like posts, and comments.
  • The time, frequency, and duration of your activities on our service.
  • Your contact information including your mobile number.
  • Your gender and information about your religious/political views, interests, orientation, demographics, etc.
  • Your social profiles you share with us.
  • The device and software you're using, and other device characteristics.
  • Identifiers that tell your device apart from other users.
  • Information you've shared with us through device settings, like GPS location, camera access, and photos.
  • Your ISP information, mobile phone number, IP address, geolocation.
  • Currency, language, time zone.

Cookies are small pieces of text used to store information on web browsers. We use cookies and similar technologies like local storage. We may use both session cookies (which expire once you close the web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on the device until they're expired or deleted).

We collect and receive information from third-party service providers to operate our service. This information includes but is not limited to:

  • Your demographics and contact information.
  • Purchases and transactions you make.
  • Applications and websites you interact with to reach and use our service.

We use your information to enforce our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service as well as other Policies. The information is used to:

  • Verify accounts and activities.
  • Combat harmful conduct, abusive behavior, and other violations.
  • Detect and prevent fraud.
  • Detect and prevent spam and other bad experiences.
  • Maintain the integrity of our service.
  • Promote safety and security on our service.
  • Report unauthorized or illegal activities to appropriate authorities.

We use the information to conduct research and analyze platform performance as well as traffic on our service.

We use your content posted on our public feed to promote our products and service through our social media profiles as well as online and offline marketing channels.

We process your information as needed to maintain our financial books and records, engage in sales of goods and services to members and advertisers, ensure the integrity and security of our systems and resources, operate our work environment, and respond to any potential compromise of anyone's personal information.

We may share your personal information with another business entity in connection with a proposed or actual sale, assignment, merger, or transfer of all or part of our business or the acquisition of all or part of another business. In such cases, we would require any such business entity to honor the terms of this Privacy Policy.


There are different types of information we obtain, whether directly from you or automatically via your device when you use the oYari Social service. Essentially, we only obtain what is strictly necessary to provide you with our services. The categories of information we use, and the legal basis for processing are set out below:

It is entirely up to you to share your social profile. However, the absence of the information might prevent you from enjoying a number of features offered by the service.
Points 1 & 2: we may contact you for marketing purposes for similar products and/or services. It will be in our legitimate interests to do so, but you will always have a chance to opt out of such marketing communications prior to any such communication.

(b) Your consent at the time of provision of the same. You can always change this information and it is recommended to be correct but isn't mandatory.
4. Rough GPS locationYour consent when you allow access (after being prompted by your device). This can always be withdrawn but you will not be able to fully use the service and its benefits.
5. Biometric informationYour consent for Limited Purposes.
We may ask you to consent to our processing biometric information and identifiers to fight fraudulent accounts (including bots) and other misuses of our services, to increase the safety and integrity of the services, and as described in our Biometric Policy.

2. Various device identifiers
Either provided by the operating system or assigned by us.
Performance of the contract with you as a part of user authorization.
Our legitimate interests in fraud prevention, protection from potential unauthorized access using multiple devices/locations, identification of policy violation subjects, and ensuring the technical availability and security of the service.
3. Events that naturally occur during your usage of the service, such as:
Logs, events, hands played, purchase history, crashes, system reports.
Statistical information with regards to the service usage.
Partly, the performance of the contract and partly our legitimate interests in, fraud prevention, protection from potential unauthorized access, and ensuring the technical availability and security of the service.
Analysis of statistical information helps us to optimize and improve our products & services.
Such usage does not affect your rights and freedoms and does not disclose any personal data.

We collect your location whenever you use our service despite of whether you are logged in or not. On oYari Social, you can control sharing of GPS location through your operating system's settings. If you choose not to share your location on oYari Social, we will use your IP address to display an approximate location. We may still use your precise or approximate location (such as for security or advertising purposes) even if you choose not to display it to other users.

We do not "track" your precise location, but we do collect location information from your device or browser when you log in or use our service. We do not share your precise location with other users.

While we do our best efforts, the city-level accuracy of your location data is subject to certain conditions as well as processes outside of our control. Hence, in case of any disparity, we might not be able to correct it.


We don't sell any of your information to anyone. Here's more detail about to whom we share information.

We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials to enforce and comply with the law.

We transfer information to vendors, service providers, and other partners who support our business, such as:

  • Payment facilitators.
  • Measurement, analytics, and research service providers.
  • Companies that help market our Brand, Company, and Products.
  • Partners who help us to detect and stop threats to our personnel and property.

We use industry-standard security measures to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. We also make sure that appropriate safeguards are in place whenever we transfer your information.

We store and maintain your personal information as long as it is necessary

  • For the purposes for which it was collected.
  • To meet our current and future legal obligations.
  • To maintain compliance with our records retention practices.
  • As permitted to meet our legitimate interest.

However, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent hackers or unauthorized persons from illegally obtaining the information.

You understand that your information collected through the service may be transferred, stored, and processed in India or any other country in which AS Tech Solutions, its Affiliates, or Service Providers maintain facilities.


You can edit or delete information that you upload to our service wherever applicable. However, you cannot recall or delete information that others have copied.

You may delete your account at any time, and your personal information will be deleted in the normal course of business pursuant to our current data retention practice (please check the next section, How Long do We Keep Your Information).

Please be informed that when you delete some information or your account, some or all of your information may remain on our servers, but you will not be able to access it.


We keep the information as long as we need it to provide our products, comply with legal obligations, or protect our or others' interests. We decide how long we need information on a case-by-case basis. Here's what we consider when we decide:

  • If we need it to provide or operate our products and services.
  • The feature we use it for, and how that feature works. For example, we organize messages in groups. Hence any chat deletion request would delete messages only from groups prior to the current one for the specific user.
  • We retain information as long as we need it either to comply with applicable law or for any legal request, obligation, governmental investigation, legal claim, complaint, litigation, or regulatory proceedings.
  • If we need it for other legitimate purposes, such as to prevent harm; investigate possible violations of our policies or terms; promote safety, security, and integrity; or protect ourselves, including our rights, property or products.
  • If your account had/has certain restrictions applied due to violations of our policies or terms then we retain your information.

You have a wide array of rights that we respect and we will go out of our way to accommodate any valid request. You have the right to

  1. Be informed: about what personal data an organization is processing and why (we provide this information to you in this Privacy Policy).
  2. Access: you can request a copy of your data (subject to one request per year).
  3. Rectification: if the data held is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected.
  4. Erasure: you have the right to have your data deleted in certain circumstances.
  5. Restrict processing: you can withdraw consent to the processing of your personal data, wherever applicable.
  6. Lodge a complaint: you have the right to make a complaint with your national supervisory authority if you believe that your privacy rights have been breached.

You may be required to provide certain proof of identity so that We do not disclose personal data to those that are not entitled to it.

If your personal data is erased at your request or in accordance with our data retention policy, we only retain such information that is necessary to protect our legitimate interests or to comply with a legal obligation.

You can either exercise your rights by deleting certain features through your device or by emailing us at support[at]oyari.com to exercise all the other rights.

Please note that all requests should be emailed to us at support[at]oyari.com. Due to the sheer volume of messages, in-app customer support messages cannot be regarded as an effective method of notice to us.

We respond to all requests we receive from individuals wishing to exercise their data protection rights in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we reserve the right to keep any information in our archives that we deem necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.


For the purposes of paragraph (5), section 1798.130 California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018:

  • in accordance with subparagraph (A), the list of consumer rights is specified above.
  • in accordance with subparagraph (B), the categories of personal information we collect and have collected about consumers in the preceding 12 months are listed above.
  • subparagraph (C) does NOT apply to us as we DO NOT SELL and have not in the past 12 months sold your personal information as defined in subdivision (t) of section 1798.140 CCPA.

There is no consensus on how mobile application companies should interpret the DNT signals. For the purposes of the CalOPPA, We do not currently respond to DNT signals whether that signal has been received on a computer or a mobile device.


If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, you have the following data protection rights:

  • If you wish to access, correct, update or request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing, or request porting of your personal information, you can do so at any time by contacting us at support[at]oyari.com.
  • You have the right to opt out of marketing communications we send you at any time. You can exercise this right by clicking on the "unsubscribe" or "opt-out" link in the marketing emails we send you. You can manage your account settings and email marketing preferences in the Settings section.
  • Similarly, if we have collected and processed your personal information with your consent (such as for advertising), then you can withdraw your consent at any time in the Settings section. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent. Please note that if you opt out of having your data shared with advertisers, you will still see ads, they just will not be tailored to your interests.
  • You have the right to complain to a data protection authority about our collection and use of your personal information. For more information, please contact your local data protection authority.

We never knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone of age 13 years and younger. The oYari Social service and its content are not directed at nor made look to appeal to such persons. Parents or guardians that believe that we hold information about their children aged 13 and under may contact Us at support[at]oyari.com.


We may revise our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, as well as other policies from time to time to reflect:

  • New or changed terms, features, or services.
  • Changes in the law.
  • Or changes in our use or collection of personal information.

We display the last updated date on the respective policy page so you can know when there has been a change. Generally, we post about any changes on the public feed offered by the service from our official accounts. Still, it is your obligation to periodically review our policies and terms.

If you object to any terms or policies including Privacy Policy or any subsequent changes, or you become dissatisfied with oYari Social service or AS Tech Solutions in any way, your only option is to delete your account. Your continued use of our service after a revised policy or Terms of Service publication means that you agree to the revisions.
